Valuation and Inspection often leads to a natural progression to managing our Clients renovation projects especially on period properties in our area which require a specialist knowledge of our local construction methods from both Contractors and Advisor’s with careful use of building techniques which maintain and enhance the original integrity of the building and ensure that the property will continue to function.
We have many times come across work carried out on buildings which have utilised inappropriate materials and repair techniques which have resulted in the fault/problem being made considerable worse and in some cases requiring original re instatement which is both wasteful and involves further expense (where possible) which could have been avoided by taking appropriate advice prior to commencement of the works/alterations from appropriate advisor’s and contractors.
We are totally independent and have no vested interest in working in any way other than fully for our Client on any project and therefore we can look carefully at work required and seek the appropriate contractor, construction methodology and materials to complete in an appropriate time scale and to the required standard of finish.
We will always ensure our Clients are fully aware of our Fees before proceeding and ensure our assistance is at a level specified by our Clients and will not without prior agreement exceed our agreed fee in each case.
